Dexacal 40 Hampton

Dexacal 40 Hampton is recommended in those clinical processes in which vigorous and continuous corticosteroid therapy is required. Local and general tolerance is excellent.

DOSAGE AND ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION:

Give IM or EV.
Horses: 1.25 to 2.5ml, per day 0.005 mg/Kg pv
Cattle: 2.5 to 10ml, per day 0.02 mg/Kg pv
Induction of parturition in cows 10ml
Pigs: 0.5 to 2ml, per day 0.01 mg/Kg pv
Canines and Felines: 0.05 to 2ml, per day 0.1 mg/Kg pv

INDICATIONS:

In all animal species as anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy and to increase tolerance to toxins in case of infections.
Horses : Arthritis, tendovaginitis, lumbago, bursitis, COPD, otodermatosis, azoturia
Cattle : Acetonemia, puerperal paresis, antepartum and postpartum paraplegia, tetany, arthritis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, mastitis, metritis
Pigs : Agalactia, arthritis, eclampsia, poisoning, Edematous disease , shock prevention, MMA complex.
Canines and Felines : Eczema, dermatitis, non-septic arthritis, inflammatory and/or allergic states, intervertebral disc syndrome.

WARNINGS:

Shake before using. Do not exceed the recommended dose. It is contraindicated in gastrointestinal ulcers, Cushing’s disease, osteoporotic processes, diabetes mellitus, active tuberculosis and viral infections. It is recommended not to administer to pregnant females during the last third of pregnancy.

PRECAUTIONS:

It should be used with caution in animals with infections, kidney failure, corneal ulcers, hypertension, osteoporosis, diabetes mellitus, and congestive heart failure.
Its use in pregnant animals is not recommended.
After prolonged treatment, abrupt suspension can cause corticoadrenal insufficiency, so it is advisable to reduce the dose gradually.
