Dexa-Bute injection is a combination of dexamethasone and phenylbutazone, used in horses for its potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Dexa-Bute Dosage and Administration

Dosage:

Adult Horses: The standard dosage is 0.1–0.2 ml per kg of body weight administered intravenously.
– Dosage can vary based on the severity of the condition and the veterinarian’s discretion.
– Administer under strict aseptic conditions to prevent infection.
– Repeat administration should be as per veterinary advice, usually not exceeding 48 hours apart to avoid potential side effects.
