FORMULATION

Amoxicillin (as trihydrate)….15g
Propylparaben………………..0.14g

CHARACTERISTICS
The amoxicillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic which has a bactericidal antibacterial activity against a wide range of pathogenic germs belonging to the Gram negative (Colibacili, Salmonella, Pasteurella) and Gram positive (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium…)
Tte excipient based on cellulose polymer allows for an extended anti-infective action (48 hours per IM route)
The suspension remains fluid in the vial and is therefore easy to inject.
At the infection site, gel formation occurs which is later followed by total solubilization of the polymer and amoxicillin.
Longamox is well tolerated locally without leaving a trace at the injection site.
